When they first openend in Baden, this used to be my favourite bar (now it‘s Armandos). In recents years, their service, atmosphere and especially drinks have changed- for the worse!

Usually it is extremely cold, even sitting next to the heating doesnt help much. Their decor and seating is cold, uninviting and ugly. No touches of personal style or love. You do not feel like lingering and relaxing here. The music is so loud it could be a club, but it‘s not, no one dances, it‘s just a bar where you scream at your friends and still cant understand what they are saying. Toilets are often not clean. Their staff is so annoying, constantly coming to joke around with you even when you are clearly not interested. They interrupt your every conversation, but once you want to order or pay it‘s like they disappear off the face of the earth and you have to wait for an enternity.

Their food/ snacks are not good.

The worst thing by far is their AWFULL DRINKS!! Avoid them at all costs (except coffee, which is just average.) I have tried SO MANY drinks and they all taste so incredibly sweet I could barely finish them. If you ask the staff to make you a famous and standard drink like an amaratto sour or an espresso martini they end up recommending the closests thing to that menu or claim they will make the desired drink for you. Either way you will receive sugar in a glass, possibly with some artificial cherry, mango or apricot flavour. It‘s a shame they cannot manage to add some decent drinks (something bitter, sour or strong) to their menu. After visiting for so many times I have finally said my goodbyes and will never ever set foot in this...

Ich war letzte Woche dort. Wir haben Drinks bestellt und ein bisschen Oliven und Käse. Ich trinke seit Jahren keinen Alkohol, aus diesem Grund gehe ich auch gerne dorthin, weil sie wirklich leckere Cocktails machen, die manchmal tatsächlich wie die alkoholischen schmecken. Wir wurden von 2 verschiedenen Personen bedient. Die erste war sehr zuvorkommend und führte uns zu den Tischen in der Terrasse, da wir gerne draussen sitzen wollten aber nicht auf der Strassenseite. Als wir die Drinks bekamen fragte die zweite Service-Kraft wer den alkoholfreien bestellt hatte, wir deuteten beide klar auf mich. Ich fing an zu trinken, und dachte zuerst schon, dass er etwas komisch schmeckte, aber schrieb es dann meiner Paranoia zu und trank weiter. Nach etwa der Hälfte wurde mir etwas warm und wir witzelten darüber als wieder die erste Kellnerin zu uns kam (wir hatten an diesem Punkt schon die zweite Runde bestellt) und sie meinte dann auch noch laut lachend, „sie haben tatsächlich den mit Alkohol“ getrunken. Ich fand das weniger witzig, wollte dann die Rechnung und nach Hause gehen. Uns wurde auch die zweite Runde verrechnet und wir gingen während die Kellnerin noch meinte wir sollen doch noch bleiben, vielleicht würden unsere Drinks dann aufs Haus gehen. Dass sowas überhaupt noch geklärt werden muss ist lächerlich. Wäre ich der Fahrer gewesen oder hätte ich aus gesundheitlichen oder sonstigen Gründen keinen Alkohol trinken dürfen, wäre das ganze nicht so lustig gewesen. Für mich jetzt sagen zu müssen, ich hatte 4 Jahre lang keinen Alkohol getrunken, aber jetzt leider doch ist sehr traurig und ich denke jeden Tag daran. Dass die Kellnerinnen das nicht so schlimm fanden und noch lachten wäre für mich ein Kündigungsgrund und die inkompetente Blondine sollte in jedem Fall entlassen werden. Ich arbeite selbst im Service. Natürlich kann man mal die Drinks verwechseln, aber wer keinen Alkohol trinkt, sollte sich gemerkt werden. Ich werde bestimmt nicht mehr dahin gehen....

I love the drinks there, there is so much to choose from and they create new drinks regularly, and they are reasonably priced. But this is the only reason I go there - the interior is nice but gets very loud and crowded, the tables are not really the size for enjoying food. We had the fondue in the chalet (without starters or dessert) for a whopping 43fr per Person. That's a lot for a bit of bread and...
