Disappointing Service and Very Mediocre Food
I visited the restaurant last Friday around 12:00 p.m. About 75% of the tables were empty. I chose a table for four because the others were too low, but the waiter told me I couldn’t sit there since it was reserved for groups of four. Keep in mind, the restaurant was practically empty.
He then moved me to a table for two, right next to a couple on a date, less than 25 cm away. Honestly, I was practically part of their conversation. To give them some privacy, I moved to a corner table, but the waiter, with a rather rude attitude, insisted that I had to sit at the table he assigned me, claiming the one next to it was reserved.
I understand this rule when the restaurant is full, but when there are so many empty tables, it would be smarter to offer customers some flexibility. As a business owner, I know that it’s better to have a customer inside than an empty restaurant. Being inflexible in situations like this only drives customers away.
The food is very mediocre, but given that there aren’t many options in the area, I decided to stop by for something to eat. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t worth it.
I don’t think the employee is entirely to blame, but rather the owner for not properly training their staff. A waiter shouldn’t just be trained to carry plates and serve food, but also to sell, upsell, cross-sell, and handle different situations with common sense.
When I said I was leaving, he didn’t care at all and even pushed me to leave immediately. The couple next to me was embarrassed by the situation and agreed that it was completely absurd. I will never go back. Every time I walk by, the restaurant is half empty—now I...
Read moreWe went for brunch on Sunday at 11 a.m., and it took a long time to take our order, plus more than an hour to get our food. We ordered one omelet and two avocado toasts. However, the toasts came without avocado, lacked flavor, had a very poor presentation, and the portion size was very small. We have been there before and it was always good, but this time it was really disappointing. some people left because of the long wait, even though the place wasn't even full. The service was okay, it wasn’t their fault—but the kitchen's performance was very poor, and we were quite...
