The Saint Louis Buvett is beautifully located between St Johanns Park an the Rhein bord right in front of boat terminal 1 where the cruise ships land. During those hot summer evenings it is well located in the shade witch is a great plus. There is always an comforting breeze going. The food is mainly Fischknusperli and Salad. They are crispy, the fries are excellent. Also the salad is very fresh with a nice mustard dressing. Various beverages including wine and beer as well as coffee. The staff is very friendly. Seafood fast food, but nicely done with fresh ingredients. We sit there for around 2hours and tried their foods and beers. They have a couple of different fried fishes(local swiss and salmon) with various sauces and two main side dishes(salad or fries). We tried both and we loved it!

The staff was helpful and explained what’s the menu about as they didn’t have an English menu. So if you are stuck, just ask them and they’ll help you.

The cafe is the perfect spot to relax prior to boarding your river cruise or for a break while walking along the Rhine. We ordered frittes and drinks after a stroll back from the Three Country Bridge. Please note that the cafe charges a return fee for the items ordered.
