One of the unfriendliest places I’ve ever visited. My mom was unwell so she wanted to sit for a few minutes. We ordered 3 cups of of coffee but were made to feel completely unwelcome. One waitress initially didn’t allow us to sit on a chair, even though tables were empty. Then, the waitress who served us the coffee thought she was doing a big favour by serving us over-priced concoctions. Finally, the (bitter) icing on the cake - being told that in Switzerland they don’t accept cards! While we paid in cards even in the remotest of hills in the Bernese alps. Good mussels restaurant, on a great touristic place. The location is also great for the kids, who can play outside on the fully-pedestrian place.

The waiters speak several languages and are used to adapt to tourists. Menus in several languages are available.

The mussels were good, which is obviously the most important for such a restaurant.

The French fries were a bit scarce, they could have given a bit more without extra cost.

The service was nice and friendly. It was quick at the beginning but then they became overcrowded and it took too much time at the end to get the dessert...

After several years of terrible management the ownership of this restaurant has changed. Everything looks fine, smells fine and fresh. The only point.. you don’t get there. You can’t enjoy the food. Arriving at 21:35 we weren’t even served a second beer. Kitchen is closed! - was the laconic answer of the waitress. I’ve tried my luck next day. 13:35. Moule time, lunch time. What menus can I choose please? “Sorry, kitchen is closed!” Not a word more, no apology, no gesture. So, actually no comment about this place. Form your own...
