Moules-Edy — Restaurant in Bern

Food definitely matters! But sometimes, the significance of Atmosphere comes into play and weighs out the sole delight of food. In some moments of our lives, a perfectly designed space matters above anything else. If you want to sit inside a calm and welcoming space and in front of several roof-high windows, facing the gorgeous, green scenery while you are with your loved ones, then do choose this place. The food will satisfy you for sure, but longer will the visual memory of this restaurant and bar stick in your mind. I am happy I walked in there. Hopefully, these people who've got beautiful souls will keep hosting many more guest; providing them the space needed to have many more beautiful gatherings...

Wir waren zu sechst im Moules Edy in Bern und hatten einen grossartigen Abend. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.

Zur Einstimmung gab es frisches, knuspriges Baguette mit Butter.

Danach bestellten wir:

• 1× Moules à la marinière mit Pommes • 2× Moules aux crevettes auf Nudelbett • 1× Moules provençale mit Pommes • 1× Moules piquantes mit Pommes • 1× Extra-Pommes

Alle Muscheln waren sehr frisch, perfekt gegart und voller Geschmack – keine einzige schlechte dabei. Jede Sauce hatte ihren eigenen Charakter: klassisch-aromatisch, mediterran-tomatig, angenehm pikant oder mit Garnelen verfeinert. Die Pommes waren goldgelb, knusprig und wurden mit reichlich einzeln verpackten Mayo- und Ketchup-Portionen serviert.

Portionen sind sehr grosszügig – die Muscheln werden auf einem Gitter mit Kerzen darunter serviert, sodass sie lange warm bleiben. Die Präsentation mit grossen Servierschalen, Fingerbowls und einem extra grossen Behälter am Tischrand für die leeren Muschelschalen macht das Essen besonders angenehm und ordentlich.
