Kirchenfeld Bridge is an impressive bridge in its dimensions. Its construction was completed in 1883 and since then it has undergone a series of renovations and structural strengthening. The view on both sides, with the impressive AARE River at its foot, is breathtaking, and highlights the beautiful skyline of BERN. Two magnificent buildings catch the eye, the Cathedral of Bern, with its amazing steeple on the eastern side of the bridge, and The Parliament Building on the western side. For those who have time, it is recommended to park the car at the Casino Parking (on the north side of the bridge), and from there take a short walk along the bridge, and see the view from both sides. The Casino Parking can also be used by anyone who wants to tour the ancient and spectacular part of Bern.

This is a beautiful bridge. One can see the hotel bellevue on on side which is just beside the beautiful river Aare. The colour of the water is blue. On the opposite side there is a small dam for the water to pass through and there is a resturnt underneath which the blue water passes onto another place. It is so peaceful and...
