The worst meal I’ve ever had in my life. We ordered fish and chips the fries were clearly from a frozen bag, pre-cooked and industrial. The fish was not fresh either, just processed frozen fish, definitely not homemade.
Then we had a rösti with fish and brie cheese. The fish was dry and flavorless, and the vegetables were clearly frozen and pre-cooked. Same for the rösti it tasted like factory-made food, with no seasoning at all. No salt, no flavor, no texture.
We also tried the cordon bleu with fries and vegetables. Everything was obviously prepared frozen food. The vegetables tasted like they had been microwaved straight from the freezer no oil, no herbs, no seasoning. Just plain and lifeless.
The cordon bleu was soggy and undercooked inside. The sauce was literally a spoonful of jam from a jar. The other sauce was also just bottled sauce, not made in-house.
The burger was raw in the middle, with no proper salad, just a sad mix of tasteless cabbage. The fries, again, frozen and industrial.
And just so you know: the dry fish with frozen vegetables cost 42 Swiss francs. A complete rip-off. We paid a ridiculous amount for poorly prepared, processed food with zero care or quality.
The only good thing about this place is the location right by the river, with a nice decor and pleasant atmosphere. But honestly, when you’re hit with such an insane bill for such horrible food, you leave feeling sad and cheated.
That’s the word: cheated. So the nice atmosphere quickly turns sour. Just come here for a drink if you must but don’t eat. You’ll leave as disappointed and upset as we did. Burguer 33 ch cordón bleu 37 Rosti with fish 42 fish and chips 35 … :( the prives for frozen food…. The...

We made a reservation for Sunday Jan 14th at 21:00. we saw that there are possible reservation slots till 21:30 and that the restaurant is open till 23:00. we chose this restaurant because we hoped to spend a nice evening and have dessert and coffee after the meal. At 21:36 (as we were having the main course), the waiter comes to tell us that the kitchen is closed and we can no longer order dessert. We were surprised and explained that wasn’t our expectation since they close at 23:00. The manager explained that „ in Europe that’s how it happens and other details about their internal process at the restaurant. What I would have wished for : 1. the waiter could have warned us before the kitchen closes to order dessert (instead of telling us after the fact) 2. they were upfront about their variable closing time (they didn’t have other customers so decided to close) the manager didn’t gaslight us that our evening was cut short because we didn’t understand how things work in Europe ( btw we are not tourists) We left the restaurant after 45mns. They did apologize and said we could have a coffee but at this point I was unhappy with the way the manager communicated. The waiter did his best to apologize. I hope the manager understands that people dine out because they want to have a nice evening and don’t want their evening cut short and be lectured about restaurant internal administration. The manger refrain from making assumptions about wether the customers are from Europe or not as it sounded like a derogatory comment. I would suggest they just don’t...
Read moreNice location with good view right next to the river. Food is not bad. However, we had the very worse experience during our visit in Switzerland. We sat at the sofa area at the terrace. All the sudden a guy (waiter ot manager?) came over and pulled away two sofa from the table (my sister went for the rest room and the backpack was on the sofa). He told us the rule is one hour only and tried to put some paper written in German(?) on the table (about the rule?) . Another guy (the one took my order of food and drinks) quickly came over and they seemed having disaggrement in this regard. The first guy then walked back to the restaurant but left that paper on the table. Although the 2nd guy immediately took it away, we felt bad about it. First of all, there was no sign of such rule when we came in. The terrace just felt like a free to sit area as long as you order something (no one guide you where to sit, just pick up the one you like by yourself). Most importantly, there were others sitting at the sofa area much longer than us but WE were the only ones being treated in this way! Can't help to feel racial discrimination! Yes, we 4 were the only one group from Asia druing that afternoon. After such encounter, no view was good enough to keep us. Ironically, the first guy said to us something like "enjoy your day" when we were leaving. Yes, we were BEFORE...
