Falafingo 3.0 — Restaurant in Bern

We just left the place with a bittersweet feeling. I am still trying to psychology digest the brunch. I don’t have a problem with the price because I knew before even going there how much I would pay but serving me food that was bought in Lidl or Aldi and just serve it on a not so washed plate this is very disrespectful to the customer. The only thing that was made on spot in that kitchen is the eggs and suxhuk! On top of that having dogs in there is very much against sanitary request. And I say this because we had hair on our kajmak and honey. Bread was served and over served to the people! Very much disappointed. We had high expectations for the breakfast after reading many positive reviews and seeing the appetizing photos online. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and authentic.

Unfortunately, the breakfast itself was disappointing. The bread was moldy and the mezeler (side dishes) were not fresh. We tried a bit of everything, but ended up not eating much.

We shared our concerns with the owner, who responded kindly and didn’t charge us as an apology — which we really appreciated.

Heute waren wir zu viert bei Falafingo. Bis jetzt war es einer meine Lieblingsbrunchspots in Bern. Leider wollte ich heute ein Bon der ausgestellt wurde von Bärner Meitsch benutzen. Auf dem Bon stand das 2 Personen für den Preis von 1 einen Frühstück im Wert von 22 Franken konsumieren könnten. An der Kasse haben sie mir gesagt das der Preis neu 34 Franken ist und sie auf dem gesamt Betrag 22 Franken Rabatt machen können. Ich wusste bereits dass der Brunch Preis 34 Franken pro Person kostet und war bereit diesen Betrag auch zu Zahlen. Aber mit dem Gutschein müsste ich in diesem Fall 34 Franken weniger bezahlen, da es ja einen Bon der es erlaubt 2 Personen für den Preis von 1 zu essen. Der Besitzer hat mir gesagt es sei ein Druck Fehler von Bärner Meitschi und dass er nichts damit zu tun hat und ich mich bei bärner Meitsch melden soll. Er hat mir nicht zu gehört und war sehr unprofessionell. Von " wir sind dankbare um ihr Feedback" war da nichts. Falafingo hat definit einen Kunden verloren.

Tipp: auch wenn es nicht euer Druck Fehler war, haben die Kunden nichts damit zu tun. Egal was für ein Konflikt oder Missverständniss dahinter steckt. Ist das Image von Falafingo auch Betroffen. Eine professionelle und lösungsorientierte Haltung ( auch in hektischen Situationen) ist das A und das O für jedes Unternehmen.
