Gelateria di Berna — Restaurant in Bern

After a long walk along the banks of the River Aare today, we decided to check out the much-hyped Gelateria Di Berna for some ice cream.

It’s one of those rare spots in Bern where people actually line up to order—quite an unusual sight here. We joined the queue and got our turn after waiting for about 15–20 minutes.

They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I went with a mix of Pistachio and Chocolate, while my colleagues tried Panna Cotta, Alphonso, and a few others.

The pricing was reasonable—CHF 4 for a small and CHF 5.5 for a large.

Overall, while the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype, it wasn’t disappointing either. The ice cream was good, just not extraordinary. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions...

Very long waiting times and i could accept that if the Gelato was especially good. But i have to be disappointed. It was Bland and the Portions were Small. I ordered some of the more "Special" Flavours, if you can call it that and there was very little of the advertised Aroma Present. Very warm welcoming service offers also to try the Flavours before purchase.Tried their Dulce De leche coconut flavour which was super creamy and delicious had the tropical vibe to it and was super light and refreshing and tried their Maro Di Berna which was smooth and creamy and the chocolate was very delicious.To summarize I would say this was far one of the best Gelatino I had here in Switzerland definitely would...
