Edit: after I posted this bad review my husband told me that Globus had contacted him a couple of hours before I wrote my post. It does not change the fact that they gave us the run around for 3 months on a purchase that was with-in the 2-year warranty window. They have horrible customer service and shoppers should be aware of that.
I purchased a 150 franc Le Creuset tea kettle from Globus online last year. In April this year the paint started to chip off on the inside and the outside. I had my husband take it in because heâs Swiss and speaks the dialect. They told him they would have to send it in to be inspected and they would email us when they had an answer. That was on May 24th, 3 months ago. They never emailed us so I had my husband call them, he had to call many times until he finally reached someone who knew what was going on. 3 weeks ago he spoke to a woman who told him that Le Creuset found the kettle to be defective and they replaced it with a new one, but it was black, not red. So they had to send it back to them. No one ever wrote to us to tell us what was going on. Now, almost a month after my husband called we still do not have any feedback and we still do not have our tea kettle. Globus should have replaced it on the spot or refunded our money, I would have even accepted a store credit. It was with-in the 2 year warranty time period and we had the receipt. Instead they have given us the run around and made us waste our time trying to figure out what is going on. They portray themselves as a high-end department store but you can get better customer service from an Otto's than you can with Globus! Donât shop with them if you care about being treated fairly and with respect!
Also mussten sie ihn zurĂŒckschicken.
Read moreI'll start by confessing that I haven't checked the upper floors of GLOBUS in detail. To my knowledge, they sell some pretty high quality goods. This is my deduction from a cursory glance of their stock.
Now, if you've read any of my other reviews, you'll know I'm all about food.
The lower floor of GLOBUS houses their delicacy section. It's one of the best places in town to fill your delicacy needs. Their sauces are amazing. Their tea and coffee section has amazing variety. You can buy premium fresh cheese of any kind. There's an entire section dedicated to asian products. A massive alcoholic beaverages section. Their premium chocolate selection is also on point and there are many more sundries I'm skipping because I'd be here all day if I'd list them.
Of course you're gonna pay a bit of a premium. But do ckeck GLOBUS out if there's anything you'd...
Read moreHad a terrible experience at the Dior counter. I came in for three products, but Mrs. Lindegger had to open every box instead of just reading the labels which made the whole process longer than it needed to be. Very odd to be so unfamiliar of your station. It was very frustrating yet I kept calm and stayed polite as I hoped to just pay and leave soon. The checkout was even worse, cold and rude, as if my purchase was an inconvenience to her. Definitely not the service I expect from Dior or Globus. They are under new management, hope they will restaff soon too because if this is how they treat paying customers, Iâll be taking my...
