Al Manzil — Restaurant in Geneva

Decent place to have a Shisha in Geneva. Located in Monthoux, it only serves Shisha and drinks. No food is available. There are some decent flavours available here but it's not rate the place amongst the best I've tried.

As with everything in Geneva and Switzerland in general, this place is pretty costly. It was off-putting to have a "musician" preform right next to us and then demand tips.

The whole street is lined with Shisha parlours so to try some of the other ones too as the were better options there which are not listed on Google, Emirates Cafe, to name one.

PS: It serves good Moroccan tea, which I'd rate better than the Shisha...

My girlfriend and I visited the bar and we asked the drinks menu. We ordered a Heineken 25cl which cost 6.50 CHF and a glass of white wine for 6.- CHF. When we asked for the bill before paying, they brought us a receipt saying:

Heineken: 8.- CHF White wine: 7.- CHF

SERVICE AFFREUX, CUISINE FROIDE ET INFECTE. Pour le Repas du Ramadhan à 28 CHF, c'est de l'ARNAQUE boulette de viande (qui ressemble au plat d'IKEA à 4 CHF), on vous donne que du riz. Je suis tombé malade avec tous mes invités. C'est une HONTE d'avoir un restaurent pareil à Genève. Faite très attention. Il avait mentionné six salade et un buffet. Il avait mis 6 petites boles (n'importes quoi). J'avais fait la remarque au responsable. Pas d'excuse, sa réponse il y'a d'autres personnes qui mangent ça...., il ne mérite pas un étoile. Il mérite que l'Etat de Genève lui ferme le restaurent. AUCUN EXCUSE DE SA PART ou UN SOURIRE...a éviter tracer votre chemin: service affreux , personnel pas aimable, cuisine froide et infecte go away : awful service, very rude people, the cooking was cold...
