While looking for our hotel, my boyfriend and I passed by Parfums de Beyrouth at around 7 pm on a Wednesday evening. The tables inside and outside were packed, and there was a line inside for takeout. That's usually a good sign. A quick Yelp search confirmed this so we decided to come here for dinner after we dropped off our stuff at the hotel (conveniently located a block away at ibis)

At 9 pm, it was still pretty busy. We were able to nab one of the last tables outside, and decided what to order fairly quickly. I went with the mixed platter, which came with a little bit of everything - lamb adana (or gyro?), salad, pita, and hummus. And that's not everything - that's just all I can remember. It was a nice variety. I ate everything. Plus at 17 CHF for all of that food, it was a great value for Switzerland.

If you ever find yourself in Geneva looking for a place to eat, this is it. Also open late (until 2...

I went there with my family last Sunday. We ordered many different dishes. They were all delicious and the portions satisfying. The tea was tasteful. The place reminded me of authentic, old fashion simple restaurants in Athens where the restaurant atmosphere is modest but the cuisine authentic and cooked with fresh ingredients. The waiters were very busy but efficient, the place was "moving" a lot with customers queuing also for take away. I will agree with other reviewers that the restaurant is value for money for Swiss standards although if you start ordering many small side dishes the bill can go up very quickly. The 4 of us, two adults and two small children paid a total of abt. 100chf but we ordered more than enough and left very very full. On the menu there were also sandwiches/pita rolls which were more modestly priced for a quicker bite. Overall I will definitely visit this restaurant...

Looks like my review was taken down so i’m doing it again. I went to parfums de beyrouth on June 5 at 9pm. When it was my turn to pay, the cashier bluntly says “you’ll pay when you get your order”. I ask where would you like me to wait? And he says word for word “inside, outside, wherever you want live your life”. It’s the second time this same guy disrespects me while i’m paying. Why would I complain if I’m never coming back? Not only was i disrespected yesterday, it happened on my first time (about a month ago) as well when i said my table number in french instead of arabic and was asked “can’t you say it in arabic?” in a very sarcastic way by that same guy. i also waited 40min for my dish as the waiter forgot to serve it to me that time. I would be stupid if I ever come back or if I ever recommend Parfums de...

We went here for lunch last weekend and it was busy!!! As an Egyptian I was looking for authentic food. I initially wanted the kabsa with chicken but was advised that it was sold out. So I ordered the kofta plate, my partner got the mixed plate and we also had labneh. The kofta was great and authentic we loved it. The salad on the plate had a very small amount of torshi (pickles) thinly cut, I think it could have used a bit more. The labneh wasn’t as thick as it usually is, it seemed to be mixed with something. Our plates also had a falafel, it lacked greenery. This visit was bittersweet as it reminded me of home but I think it’s been adjusted to the European palate.

Way better then I thought it would be. The menu is limited but most likely you know your order is going to be one of their famous dishes. I tried the Lebanon mix it was great especially the kofta. The food is fresh and warm and portions just right. The restaurant is very crowded for all types of customers so expect to wait few minutes to get a table. With all the crowds expect them to get part of your order worng, so you might need to remind them what is your order even with that they might not give your order fully . Recommend if you are in the city but keep an eye on what you get and what you don't get.

absolutely incredible. I thought about going to a lebanese restaurant and this one was the closest. After a day in the sun, I was dreaming about a nice big fresh fattoush salad. Sadly, that was not on the menu. . . and I ended up with a delicious assorted meat plate instead! The lamb kebbe was seasoned incredibly well. Everything was incredible. The service was speedy. Paying is at the counter (a bit confusing because there's multiple lines to order takeaway). I can't wait to go back to try their eggplant or tabbouleh plates.
