Beau Coffee — Restaurant in Geneva

It’s easy to see the effort that the owners have put on this coffee shop, particularly in the decoration. However there were 2 points that did not work for me: it’s quite small which depending on the time can be either “cozy” or claustrophobic and uncomfortable. Chairs are not particularly comfortable either. The last point is the bathroom situation, which doesn’t have a sink… they provide wipes but I don’t think it’s up to standard.

The teas and pastries we ordered were fine but so in other coffee shops that offer these other elements to their service (space, seats, sink). Perhaps I had to try the coffee which is advertised as specialty to bump up my experience. Sadly, I don’t think I will be...

Yes, yes, yes. On paper, everything is great: cool place, good coffee or matcha, great and efficient barista (Dasha?not sure about her name). But, oh Lord, what a weird mood. There's tension there (not just because of the temporary replacement of the man at the cashier. Even before that, it was weird.) Weird division of labour: the barista does literally everything on her own. Consequences? We wait quite a while to have a coffee. Not sure how...
