Ok, I will try to be as nice as possible on this review and my only and truly positive comment is about the staff, which are very attentive and friendly! Well done guys
About the restaurant:
Outdated and does not give you the churrascaria vibes by any means
salad bar is poor! So poor that I have to say it was the worse salad bar I have ever seen in a "Brazilian Rodizio" restaurant, sorry.
Once you finish your salad, and just before serving the meats, they put at your table small portions of rice, black beans, fried banana, farofa, etc. All taste very good and fresh. ( I guess this is another good point )
Meats: standard. Very standard! Some of the cuts were very "chewy". Some were dry, but at least the Picanha ( rump steak equivalent ) wasn't bad. (but hey, nothing special!!). My picanha tastes much better
Desserts: what is included is the grilled pineapple. Again, pretty average.
All in all, the food is just average, but when you see the prices in the final bill, these are truly premium numbers! I dont mind paying high prices for good quality food, but I must warn you, you will feel that advantage has been taken out of you!
Caipirinha: 14 CHF Can of Guarana: 6.5 CHF, yes, 6.50 CHF !!!!!!!! Rodizio per head: 50 CHF Rodizio for enfants: I think it was 25 CHF
It is a rip off!!!! I left the place feeling abused! What else can I say? - just go if you are truly desperate to eat some different cuts of meat, and are willing to pay the high prices.
Yes we are in Geneva and everything is expensive. True! BUT most of the times you get what you paid for. Unfortunately not here.
Would I come back? - No, and the main reason is the Quality x Price factor. It just...
Read moreRodizio for 3 people. Started with a generous salad buffet. Followed by eating many variations of grilled quality meat. Refill before we could finish what we already had on the plate. In this rodizio, the delicious meat is the focal point. Everything else is "garniture" as they say in TV commercials. The 'garniture' was also first class; rice, beans & sauce, pineapple, frites 'alumettes' (most likely home made) We drank plain water to the meal such that we could fully enjoy the flavors and juices of the irrestible meat pieces. After continuous eating for 40 to 50 minutes we had to say stop! We got grilled pineapple for dessert. Inlcluded in the rodizio. Pineapple contains enzymes which helps the digestion. To conclude we had coffee. The best coffee I had in years. Had to rest at home. Ate only fruits in the evening. This meal was more like 2+ meals for me. I will remember this place as long as I live. All the staff in the restaurant are friendly and work hard to please all the customers. Strongly recommended for grilled...
Read moreGreat place to eat meat, really typical rodizzio restaurant, the welcoming you with some bread, then you have a free salad bar where you can take some variety of fresh tomatoes, potatoes with mayonnaise(really South American thing) and after that you will have fried plátano, rice, French fries and feisuada, and they are starting to bring meat. The best rib eye and picanha.
Things to improve: use a badge to let them know if we are ok or we want more food and try to ask to the customer what finish they like to eat, the first picanha was raw, but after that was really good.
The price is a fair price 120 ch for 2 people with beer, water, and a lot of meat.
The attention could improve a little bit, since the attenders are Brazilian, they know more languages and for me as Argentinian, it could be nice for them to speak in portunol.
But it’s a nice place to visit and go there if you are starving, so you can enjoy eating a...
