I was looking forward to a dinner in such a high-ranked nice place, and was totally shocked by how poorly we were treated. Theoretically, the Dumas Bistrot is pet-friendly. I brought my well-behaved tiny (3kg) dog inside a brand new clean bag. I put the dog in the carrier bag on a chair next to me.
Suddenly, a waiter rushed over, waving his finger and shouting at me to put the bag with my small dog on the floor. No explanation, no apology—just plain rudeness.
Had the request been communicated politely, I would have understood. But the way it was handled was completely unacceptable.
