Bologne — Restaurant in Geneva

Deplorable customer service....perhaps it is in an an attempt to create an aura of exclusivity, but the effect is that this restaurant will never have my business nor that of anyone in my network. I called a week in advance to make a reservation for a birthday dinner for two. I was told that I would be placed on a waiting list and would be notified if there was an opening. I followed up a few days later and was told that I was still on the waiting list, but that I would receive notification if something were to change. I received a missed call on the day that I had requested the reservation, along with a voice message informing me that there had been a cancellation and my reservation had been confirmed. I did not receive any further instructions. Nevertheless, I called to confirm my reservation an hour and a half later. No one picked up. When I called again later in the afternoon someone finally picked up but informed me that I no longer had a reservation. The person I spoke with made zero efforts to accommodate me, even after I explained that I had called the week before, that it was for a special occasion and that I had called earlier in the day to reconfirm with no success. I don't care how good the food is here, or about your Michelin status, if the people skills of your employees are as deficient as demonstrated by my recent experience attempting to make a reservation, your business is not worthy of welcoming...

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by the blatant racism and lack of professionalism I experienced at this restaurant. I arrived at 12:30 for the lunch menu, and was told they were fully booked, despite the restaurant being half empty. When I asked if we could sit outside, I was told no service outside. However, when we returned at 13:30, we saw people eating outside and questioned the waiter about it.

The true insult came when he eventually relented to sit us. He told us there was no lunch menu available, then handed us the a la carte menu and said, "YOU CANNOT JUST ORDER AN ENTREE."

This establishment clearly does not value customers of color and their business. The fact that all the one-star reviews are from people of color is not a coincidence.

Not to mention the food was mediocre at best, yet he has the audacity. Shocking that Michelin guide lists this place in Bib Gourmand. Will never come back and won’t recommend it to any...

This place was a delight, excellent professional and friendly service, nice decor and atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully plated and well thoughtout flavours, not that they care about my opinion but the sour cream on the lamb overpowered it and for me would be better on the side. HOWEVER it was one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. Small portions... but then you get to then dessert trolly where you can have a taster of basically all 8+ desserts if you wanted.
