I had high expectations, but in the end, it didn't meet them. It's alright, but I won't come back.
The booking: I organized dinner for seven people five days in advance and received five emails for confirmation and reconfirmation of my booking. It was a bit excessive, to be honest. ✖️ (Also, they ask for your card number to charge 20 CHF per person if you don't cancel in advance or don't show up. For the restaurant: It would be helpful to notify customers about this requirement at the very beginning of the booking process. Receiving the notification of card registration after booking and confirmation can give the impression of an email scam). ❗
The ambiance: When we arrived 10 minutes early, our table was ready, which was okay, but we had to fit into a space meant for six. We had to request an extra chair to accommodate our group and be more comfortable. The music was so loud that we couldn't speak, and the room was too dark to read the menu. The blinking lights (to be fancy?) were awkward. ❌
The food: The food was quite good and delicious. I'll present several dishes here. The desserts were large and enjoyable. We didn't order alcohol, but the cocktails looked very nice. ✅
Service: No complaints about the two girls who attended to us. They were attentive and refilled our water frequently, which wasn't really necessary, but we appreciated it. You feel welcomed and well-cared-for. ✅
The guy was a mess. He messed up the dessert order, bringing one we didn't ask for. When we informed him, he made the change, but later it was still on the bill. During payment, they asked for tips using the card reader (be careful with your code here!), and he positioned himself behind me (to check the amount?? I can't say, but you shouldn't do that, especially when I'm entering...
Read moreKhora is a restaurant situated in Eaux – Vives, one of the famous neighborhoods in Geneva full of bars and restaurants.
As you enter the restaurant, you are welcomed by the magnificent urban setting, a beautiful combination of Greek tradition and an immense luxury of modernity.
The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering starters followed by the main course, specially designed by Konstantinos Kamperis. I had keftedakia, kalamarakia ntolmadakia, tyrokroketes to share with my friend before the main. They were exquisite with keftedakia being the highlight. The main course included braised pork cheek, smoked eggplant puree and eggplant chips veggie. This was really thrilling. It was all followed by galaktompoureko and ekmek kataifi. Konstantinos Kamperis has attempted and succeeded to take us for a quick dip into Greece’s tastes.
The restaurant also offers various types of drinks/ cocktails created by Alexandros Argyris quite scrupulously. Best way to start is the Athenian and Margaro cocktail containing gin and tequila respectively. For those ones, who would like to try sth with Greek infusion maybe Hiotis Mango with mastic and Baklava old fashioned with ouzo would be more appropriate. It also offers a variety of local wines to accompany your main meal.
The downside is they have established 2 services one at 19:00 and one at 21:30 which means if you choose to go at 19:00 by 21:20 you must be done as they need to get ready for the next customers.
Because of the brilliant atmosphere, the delicious food service and the creative cocktails, I strongly recommend going with your friends, family, partner or whosoever...

My family and I recently visited this restaurant and we were blown away by the amazing experience we had, the service was top-notch. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and accommodated our large party of 11 with ease. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations and answering all of our questions.
But it wasn't just the service that impressed us - the food was absolutely delicious. We started off with the mozzarella balls, a flaming cheese appetizer that was both fun and flavorful. For our main courses, we ordered a variety of dishes - everything from moussaka to kefta to seafood. Each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. And the portions were generous, ensuring that everyone left feeling satisfied.
One thing that really stood out to us was the attention to detail in the presentation of each dish. The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully plated and garnished with fresh herbs and colorful vegetables. It was clear that the chefs at Khora take great pride in their craft and strive to create dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing. our experience was outstanding.
