Disappointed and Deeply Concerned About Allergy Negligence||||While the location of the hotel is undeniably convenient, our overall experience was extremely disappointing — and, frankly, alarming. We had informed the hotel in advance about our son’s severe nut and egg allergies. Upon arrival, Ismail confirmed that this had been noted, which gave us some initial peace of mind.||||However, this was completely undone when hotel welcomed us with a “gift” of nut chocolates and pastries containing egg — the very ingredients that can cause our son a life-threatening reaction. Thankfully, we questioned the contents before he touched anything and returned them immediately to reception.||||What’s worse: there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation. It felt like this kind of oversight was a regular occurrence, and that’s unacceptable.||||At breakfast, the staff assured us they were aware of the allergies — only to then recommend omelettes. That was the final straw. We didn’t feel safe and chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay.||||On top of all this, the hotel’s decor is outdated and tired, and our room faced a noisy street, making restful sleep difficult.||||In short: the hotel’s attitude toward guest safety — especially when it comes to severe allergies — is careless at best and dangerous at worst. We will not...
Read moreThe hotel has nothing to do with 5 star, we booked it this time just because of the location, but regretted already from the first minutes of our arrival. The man who stands in front of the hotel doors and runs around in the evening to bring the luggages was also delivering small bottles of water that they usually put after making the room, I asked for and he told me that I should use minibar and I told at the reception that he behaves not like in a 5 star hotel unacceptably rude and incompetent behaviour, but young girl at the reception was same level incompetent and she said she will inform her manager. No one, no supervisor no so called manager ever got in tauch with us during several days of our stay. Obviously FISH ROTTING FROM THE HEAD. If you ask for basic things such as to bring a tea cap or to refresh the towels be prepared that you must call for 3 to 4 times that within 1 hour may be or may be not they will bring it. Simply 0 STAR hotel with horrible staff not trained for delivering a 5 star hotel services. It is a big mystery how this hotel is considered 5 star and part of Relais and Chateaux. The only BIG THANK YOU to two of lovely ladies from the hose-keeping who came every evening to prepare our bed for a sleep. If you used to a 5 star hotel services and quality simply do not consider this...
Read moreAt the price of the room rate, for the Junior suite,I expected to have at least the facility to make warm teas and drinks... There was an expresso machine, but the reception staff were not happy on the first night to lend us a kettle and tea bags...They refused to lend us a kettle for the 3 following mornings we were booked in , nor would they give us tea bags...but said we should purchase through room service at 8 Ch francs a tea bag!!
This stingy attitude was explained as "Management policy"...
It is sad and disappointing to face such a petty response to clients.
Two small water bottles and 2 apples are not exactly a welcome to such a grand room and in a hotel of that prestige.. in addition it was my birthday.. and I had mentioned it when reserving ahead.
This rather spoilt our stay and will be mentioned in all my social media reviews: Trip advisor and Goggle,etc...
The hotel location is perfect and if you are celebrating a special occasion, splash out at the gastronomical restaurant next door! Don't use room service, it's totally overpriced, with breakfast at 45 Ch Francs.. when it should included in such pricey rooms.
An old fashioned hotel...
