A very good example of Italians who go abroad and think they can keep on playing the tricks they play back at home. People may think the owner here is nice and funny as he will talk to you in Neapolitan, or Italian if he manages (he didn’t dare to learn a new language), but he tries to pay the workers much below the minimum wage— as my sister’s experience working there well tells. If he were in Italy maybe he would pay the workers peanuts, here he pays 10 euros the hour and thinks he is paying gold. He puts normal mozzarella even on Pizzas that are supposed to carry the buffalo (special) mozzarella and he pokes fun at the customers who are “so silly” not to realize that.
