Little India — Restaurant in Geneva

Best Indian food in Switzerland-We have been travelling in Switzerland from last 10 days and tried indian food in different places throughout. The food at this place was hands down the best and most authentic we had in Switzerland and east coast Canada (even though Canada has a lot of Indian restos!). We had their onion pakora, chicken tikka curry, kadai paneer, jeera rice., garlic naan and tandoori roti, and gulab jamun. The flavour, presentation, and the service (special mention to our server Rashpal and the sardarji). Things to note: It was super busy on Friday evening, hence reservation is recommended. 2. Long Version:

It was our first time in Geneva.

And the first visit to ‘Little India’. We ordered vegetarian food : Baingan Bhartaa, Paneer Masala, Daal Tadka, Punjabi Salad 🥗, Raita, Tandoori Rotis, Matar Rice and finished the meal with Punjabi Masala Chai. This bill was close to 110 CHF for two people.

I have been to several Indian restaurants all over Europe and Scandinavia and have enjoyed eating home food away from home. Little India was special as it reminded me of top-notch Punjabi and North Indian restaurant grade food in India.

The staff here was kind and attentive to us and at the same time was not intrusive. They made shikanji (lemon juice Indian style - khatta mitta) especially on request. The words “paaji”, “haan ji” was reminiscent of North Indian politeness.

Almost every kind of indian dishes are available here. At my very first time there, I just loved their food. Another good thing is that they also offer delivery service & accept delivery service from almost every food delivery company right now in Geneva, Switzerland.
