Nice sized clean bathroom, big shower with great water pressure. Plenty plug sockets, big comfortable bed, good sized room, amazing Mountain View’s from the window! Have to pay for the wifi but there is great mobile service around the entire town if you have a roaming sim. Great breakfast, basic but good selection and freshly made coffee! I didn’t get the chance to have dinner at the restaurant but they serve pizza until 9-9:30pm which was a great option if coming back later. The service was great, nice greeting each morning, feels very homely. Location: very close to the train station and round the corner from two different supermarkets and there’s plenty cafes and restaurants across the road. It is extremely accessible via foot to the Oeschinensee hike and sunnbuel hike which I did over my two day stay. There’s a lovely bakery literally opposite the building which is very affordable and delicious. no noise, very peaceful and quiet for the most part! Check-in was super easy and accommodating. Check-in on booking.com stated 5-6:30pm but I messaged the property asking if I could check in earlier around 3pm and the room was ready for me as I walked in at 2:15pm, this allowed me to freshen up and drop off bags to start my day a lot earlier than expected! Before I start my review you have to take into account that this hotel is a two star hotel so of course you won't find the luxury of a five star hotel there, you have what you pay for and what you have there is more than enough, we had a nice cozy room with nice beds, a nice bathroom (clean one) and a nice view from the windows. We slept well, no noises or any kind of disturbances, the breakfast was included so we had a nice breakfast with fruits, boiled eggs, hot drinks (tea and coffee), cold drinks (water and orange juice), croissants, breads (different kinds), yogurts, butter, jam, honey, Nutella and cold meat like salami, etc... as I said, a nice breakfast in a very nice Swiss environment :) The staff was very nice, we talked during breakfast with Gabby (she's a staff member and she knows English, French, German, and some words in Serbian too ;)) who's very nice and attentive if we needed something. The hotel is very close to the train station and to the grocery store.

We had such a lovely time dining at Spycher Restaurant! It’s a charming, family-run place that truly stands out for its warmth and hospitality. The family running the restaurant is absolutely wonderful — always welcoming guests with big smiles and genuine care, which made our experience extra special.

The pizza is definitely a must-try — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. We also tried the spaghetti and pasta, which were equally delicious and prepared with great attention to taste. There are good vegetarian options available too, which we really appreciated.

The restaurant is in a great location, conveniently on the route from Interlaken to Zermatt (Täsch), making it a perfect stop for travelers. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, and it’s especially comfortable for Indian families looking for a place that feels welcoming and warm
