The place must be sold to other owners , and rebuilt into the "luxury of Nature" venue. People who claim that they own the place, just kicked out protected by government people and attacked them In DRUNK condition.
Owners who drank so much beer 🍺 (They proudly claimed it by their selflves) Just start harassing normal people around who just walk Near. It's destroying nature view for all of the visitors. This place is protected by the Red Cross the same as the people who come there.
The owner shouted all loud- " We don't give a ** about the Red Cross" when other people asked them what about Switzerland Residents, they answered the same way.
How come ? As a consulate representative it's awful to see drunk owners of some not good place hostel & Restaraunt running around good hotel Hermitage and shouting at other people as they drunk. The place where people must relax.
My advice as a hotelier with 7 hotels including 1 local hotel - just sell the plot and let normal good Hoteliers make something good there. Shame.
We are Creating together with the United Nations for so long, not to see how people destroy our nature. All the sides of Luxurious people who come to the spot will know. Family own hotel for 25 rooms just 3 KM from there, and one more for 75 Rooms in Sion, we help all people Around and never let employees shout in drunk way on any customers we help To Nature and Red Cross same as to Switzerland to build Better Future. And will help there too.

Read moreThe food itself was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. We ordered a fondue and a chicken schnitzel, but instead of the schnitzel, a cheeseburger arrived. When I pointed it out to the waiter, his response was, “I have cheeseburger written on my paper.” I explained that I don’t eat beef burgers, so I certainly wouldn’t have ordered one. To his credit, he did correct the mistake without too much hassle.
Unfortunately, the fondue was served lukewarm, with the cheese not fully melted. When I mentioned it, the waiter claimed, “That’s normal when you eat fondue outside.” As someone who lives in Switzerland and has enjoyed fondue in ski resorts at sub-zero temperatures, I can say confidently that this isn’t true. He did eventually warm it up a bit more, which helped.
Lastly, I asked for some ice cubes for my Coke, but they never arrived. At that point, I felt awkward continuing to follow up on things that should have been handled without prompting. Overall, the experience was underwhelming—not because of the food, but due to inattentive and...
Read moreThis hostel is located right beside the start of the Oeschinensee hike, or cable cars if needed. 15 mins from the Kandersteg station and connected to the Rendezvous restaurant. Perfect spot to spend a night or two to see the lake at top of the mountain. There’s a Coop shopping centre 15 mins away for groceries however no where to cook, so we just got soup and noodles easy to make with the kettle available, stocked with tea and coffee. The owner Paul was very helpful and hospitable, amazing service and treated each guest like VIP. He took pride in telling us all the good locations to visit on our stay. The beds themselves are tightly packed, with no real dividers between guests, we were lucky it was not busy. We slept with our luggage’s at the ends of our beds, there is no real luggage storage however the restaurant will safeguard some valuables like laptops during the day. Overall a great and affordable stay to see Kandersteg, and the surrounding area. Views are...
