La Crêperie d'Ouchy — Restaurant in Lausanne

Stopped by specifically, having read amazing reviews on Trip Advisor. Admittedly, lunch was superb as the crepes we had were freshly made and full of flavour. I did feel rushed, though, and that was somewhat off-putting. I much prefer my al-fresco dining to be a more laid-back arrangement - this is definitely not the case here. That said, the place was absolutely packed out for a Sunday lunch service, way too busy and for the price there was no personal service as staff were busy racing around trying to service as many covers as possible. This is a great place, but I guess a victim of its own success. By all means, go there for great crepes, but not for the service. For the price you pay, you'd have an expectation of a bit more...

1 star for the view and the kindness of the people who work there. I'm really sorry but this crepe is a total scam, it's not a crepe it's a very very thin 1 sheet layer that is not even considered a crepe with the least amount of chocolate possible, I was really shocked I couldn't believe that the koisk that sells crepes for 7 franks in the street is 10x more generous and is a real crepe, it's Such a shame that such a beautiful location yet serves nothing but a scam, on top of that the quality of the coffee is really really bad, the only thing I enjoyed was looking at the view and how kind the servers where but to be honest I would never come again, If you're craving a yummy crepe...

Stopped by this place while strolling along the lake, for a hot coffee and crepe. Upon entering, the restaurant was bubbling with the voices of happy patrons and the clanging of their cutlery against their plates of savory and sweet crepes. The host and servers were very polite, friendly, and efficient -- despite the full house of guests. I was seated very quickly and the piping hot butter and sugar crepe and Viennese coffee was served in quick time. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area for a coffee / tea break with delectable crepes of all varieties, prompt and friendly service, all with a spectacular view! 10/10...
