Takayama. Sushi bar & restaurant — Restaurant in Lausanne

I requested delivery and put in the wrong address, so my order was cancelled even though the store nor the driver from Uber Eats tried to contact me.

I put a second order through for CHF 70.90 and it was showing on the map that it was being delivered. However, no one rang and no one called. When I called the restaurant they said it was the driver's responsibility. When I called the driver, he said he didn't get any orders from the restaurant, even though that order was shown as delivered.

I am now out my money and have contacted Uber directly. oth Takayama and the Uber Eats driver seemed to have teamed up to take my money in retaliation for the first order that got cancelled. The worse part is that I could tell by their voices when I called that they were both lying when I called to ask about my order. Very hurriedly tried pushing me of from one to the other and said it was closing time, goodbye.

The food is mediocre at best as the owners are not even Japanese, and have proven themselves dishonest and untrustworthy. I will shortly complain to the local authorities as well as on both the restaurant and Uber Eats.

Had lunch at Takayama, and we liked the quality and friendliness.

Place: very close to Ouchy and the lake. They have a terrace and 2 floors inside. Decorated in a western-asian way. Beautiful pottery.

Service: kind and friendly, ok in terms of speed and accurate with the order despite being a large table.

Food: quite tasty, some things were a bit overpriced tho. Gyozas really nice. gyudon was taste and a big portion. Sushi looked fresh and was prepared by the sushi chef live. Miso soup was ok.
