If you like Lebanese traditional food, in a cozy ambience with a great staff this place is for you. It is a bit tucked away on a busy street away from the city center and the restaurant is really small, so I would recommend that you call and reserve a table.
The staff is so friendly, and the food is served quickly and with no hassle. It is also possible to take away, or to call and pick it up. The quality of the food is really really good, especially the mezzes. The lunchboxes are the best, you will get the ''sandwich'' or the man'ouché with a choice of 3 cold mezzes. I would also highly recommend the kebbes if you want something a bit different that you can also eat with the mezzes, and for dessert you have to try the baklavas !

Un trou dans les hauts de Lausanne. Nous sommes une famille de touristes. Amateur de cuisine libanaise et syrienne, nous avons suite a la lecture des commentaires sur Google et sur Tripadvisor, choisi d'aller déjeuner dans ce grand restaurant au style et decors arabesque ou méditerranéen. 1) Premier choque : le décors minable et rikiki. Sur le site web on veut donner l'illusion d'un grand restaurant avec vue sur un jardin. En réalité, le site Web fait un zoom sur un poster attenant aux toilettes. Les véritables lieux sont ternes, gris, minables et surtout minuscules. On se sent étouffé. 2) Les plats sont minables également. Petites rations, prix chers. Les plats ressemblent a la cuisine libanaise comme une Timex ressemble a une Rolex. Bref, vous avez quelques calories, mais vraiment peu pour les prix exiges. Le gérant, faussement gentil, faussement avenant et le cuisiner lent et peu soigne. On peu l’observer de la table. 3) Mon petit enfant adore le Sharwarma d’habitude, il n’a pas pu le manger. La viande est telle du cuir bourrée de sauce et autre épices , trop de sels. Ce n'était pas du sharwarma, loin s'en faut. 4) Frustres et ayant du temps ( cf. lenteur du service), nous avons passe une heure sur place a relire les avis sur Google et sur Tripadvisor. C'EST FAKE, COMME DES FAKES NEWS. C'EST UNE GROSSE FARCE. ON FAIT ECRIRE LES COPINS, LES COPINES, LES COUSINS ET LA FAMILLE SOUS DES PSEUDOS. LE GERANT REPOND DE MANIÈRE LOUCHE ET SELON UN CERTAIN PATERN A TOUS LES AVIS NEGATIFS ET DEMANDANT QU'ON LUI ECRIVE UN E-MAIL, RIEN QUE CELA AFIN DE NOUS FAIRE SORTIR DE L'ANONYMA, RIEN Que cela. CELA CRAINT !!! RELISEZ LES AVIS, VOUS VERREZ. L'AVIS DE BURAK SEMBLE TOUT A FAIT REALISTE. S'IL VOUS DONNEZ VOS COORDONNEES , LE PATRON VA INSISTER POUR VOUS FAIRE CHANGER LA NOTE POUR UN T, ETC. Selon- nous, cet endroit mal place, sans place de parc a 300 mètres a la ronde ne peut survivre que par tripadvisor, Google et autres communication a distance. Inaccessible, quand vous y êtes, vous ne voulez plus y remettre les pieds. On mange mieux , même au Mc-Do et ce sera moins cher. N'y allez jamais. Vive le oh-Beyrouth , découvert le lendemain et le kebab a Ouchy, moins prétentieux mais délicieux. Manouchy, c'est 225 frs, 2 adultes, 2 enfants de 7 et 9 ans , repas du midi. I had the pleasure of dining at MANOUCHY, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve ever tried outside of Lebanon. From the first bite, the flavors transported me straight to Beirut — authentic, rich, and deeply comforting.
