Brasserie Artisanale du Chateau is located in a two-story white wedge-shaped concrete building with red awnings and trim. There is limited parking along the street in this busy area. Enter at the center of the building on the lower level. On the left is their small, cozy dining room. On the right is a large dedicated white tile room for the brewhouse, consisting of several short copper brewing vessels. It is a decent sized operation. They have 6 house beers on tap, which are available by pint or 1/2 pint glass. These are well made across a variety of styles, and my favorites were the Blanche and IPA. There is no bar seating on the lower, as this is primarily for lunch. The rectangular dining room has several tables and a small walkup bar for take-out. Upstairs is a larger bar room which is only open peak nights. It has a long 12-chair bar and additional high top table seating. Their food menu consists of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads and their specialty pizza. The food is good and this small place is popular for lunch. The single server is pleasant and hustles to take care of everyone, but you’ll need to get his attention for service. The place has a wooden floor, black ceiling and white ceramic tile walls with green trim. Soft background music is playing, but can’t be heard over the various conversations. It is a cozy place, especially good if you’re in the mood for a...

This place used to serve an excellent pizza and the service used to be great. But this time we were totally disappointed. Our pizza was terrible, no taste at all, it was like I was eating a bread! The servers were most of the time absent and not friendly at all.
Actually we brought our guests there and told them that it was one of the best place to have pizza in Lausanne and it was a huge embarrassment! Nerver again...
Their beer was OK, but nothing exceptional comparing to the others brasseries...
Read moreWe didn't have to reserve a table at the time we went to restaurant. Thursday was the day we went on in case you were wondering. The service was great, food came within a reasonable time and they had a great variety of starters, in which we had garlic bread and a Swiss variant of Focaccia. The drinks we had were craft beers made in the in-house in the basement. Main courses were the fantastic pizzas which went well with their chilli oil as well. Would recommend...
