The palace is 220 m (or 3 minutes' walk) from the Riponne M. Béjart metro station, 550 m (or 7 minutes' walk) from the Bessières metro station or 900 m (12 minutes' walk) from the Ours metro station. Incidentally, Lausanne is the only city in Switzerland with a metro system; the metro is ideal (fast, clean and convenient) for tourists who wish to visit top attractions in Lausanne. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 - 17:00 and is closed on Mondays. Admission is free but one must obtain a ticket from the ticket counter. Be ready to spend at least 3 hours here. It is a very clean, quiet and well-maintained place and staff are friendly should you need any help. When you visit Lausanne, please make sure to visit the palace; it is...
