Staff (one person with pony tail) was really rude. I got to Wengen very later at 11:45pm. I was hungry and I saw this bar was open, walked in there were 2 people drinking beer and no one else there. I asked if they have any food I could order. Person at the bar said he can make hotdog or sandwich. I said "that's it" just to see if they have anything else. He got mad went on a tangent yelling that I should go somewhere else to find food. I told him that I arrived after long travel and would like to see if they have anything else. I told him I stay in the hotel next door. His immediate response was "I don't care". I said to myself that I got a great swiss welcome to the area.

I don't think this establishment has any interested or care to serve tourists even tough the whole area...

Wengen's winter season blossoms during December, but if you're looking for some quiet time, quality hikes, and enjoying some drink/food peacefully away from the crowds, November is a nice time I'd say.

Crystal Bar is a gem we come across in such sense. I went for chicken schnitzel provencial and wheat beer for lunch, enjoyed both a lot. As nowadays the fifa world cup is going on, they provide to watch live matches in two screens. They offer a good range of warm alcoholic beverages which I loved, especially considering the snowy weather outside. Finally, top notch, multilingual service; besides, a smiling face is always a pro!
