Food Point Kebap Lauterbrunnen — Restaurant in Lauterbrunnen

Ambience: We visited this place for lunch. And it was jam-packed, with a queue to the counter to order. I guess it explains that the eatery is famous and serves value for money delicious food.

Food: To be honest we had no idea about the menu we just read that they have good veg options so we went in, and since it was our lunch we wanted to have something heavy as we had a light breakfast. After waiting for a while since it was a long queue we ordered Pizza with a portion of fries. The pizza was delicious and had a decent amount of toppings with cheese. The fries were sufficient enough to share between the two. Overall we both were satisfied with the taste, quality and quantity of the food items, and we loved them.

Staff: The staff here was courteous and helpful in all manners, even though they were super busy as it was quite a rush.

Washroom: I didn't visit, but I noticed they do have it.

Verdict: Personally, if I were in Lauterbrunnen any time in future, I would visit this place. And I would suggest others also visit and try out their other food items, they have...

They get 1 star only because I can’t rate lower and I didn’t die from the food. I can’t believe people are calling this authentic middle eastern food. You clearly haven’t traveled much. I’ve eaten in several middle eastern countries and this place was bottom of the barrel. The Doner Kebab 🥙 in neighboring Germany 🇩🇪 is 100x better than this. The meat is some kind of processed garbage with no flavor. The schnitzel was an absolute embarrassment. It was like a giant chicken McNugget. I was given salad with no dressing and when I asked for dressing I immediately regretted it. Some kind of watered down ranch. The service wasn’t good. The people weren’t friendly. Food Wise: Price is considered decent compared to other food in Swiss (since it ranges between CHF 10-20) BUT honestly, totally not worth it & I highly do not recommend.

We ordered the kebab (CHF 13), it came cold, wasn’t compact/full, it was 25% meat & 75% vegetables & it was so dry lacking sauce. The portion was small too (compared to another kebab that we got from Lake Brienz for the same price). We were so hungry when we went to the restaurant but we left feeling more hungry & disappointed. From the photos it looks full but trust me as you bite in, the meat gets lesser & more airy..

Staff & Service: Staff was nice. Service was prompt. No Q since not many customers.

Atmosphere: If you sit outside, you get nice views & atmosphere. But...
