Restaurant Schützen — Restaurant in Lauterbrunnen

Waiters and waitresses are working depend on their feeling, as I observed when I went that restaurant or maybe they are crazy because they work only for money. They have no heart 😜 I choose this restaurant to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary at dinner time because of the view from this restaurant, and I went there in the morning to make a table reservation but the woman who work there denied as I told her already that it was my anniversary. Around 4 PM, I go again the make a reservation, but the man refused the reservation again. As it was our important occasion to celebrate, I try to request him a table to sit outside during dinner while the weather was little shower and they have an umbrella to each table actually. Suddenly, the man agreed to reserve the table for us.

7 PM dinner time as my request, I arrived at the restaurant at 6:50 PM, I meet the second man who work there and he look like Asian people with little hair. He told me that the man who took my request open an umbrella for us but he didn’t allowed us to sit outside while there were 2 Indian were sitting outside under the umbrella enjoying their dinner. We fell ok to sit inside the restaurant as he didn’t service us if we sit outside. While we were enjoy our dinner of our 10th wedding anniversary. Suddenly, there were 2 white people came sit outside, but the waiter who has little hair that refused to serve us agreed to serve that 2 white people whether they sit outside the restaurant.

This’s how crazy they are! 😂😂😂 I feel no more doubt when I see the bad reviews. That’s why I said that they work depend on their feeling for only money, they have no heart. They don’t understand how important it is to us for this occasion and never understand ( We only can took a photo outside and had dinner inside...

Myself and my wife went in to have a cup of coffee. When I ordered, i was very clearly told the waiter that "make sure that coffee must be hot" and he was assured me about that. Ultimately he served us absolutely plain coffee - it was not even Warm. We thought not to return the coffee, but we'll tell the waiter about this. When I asked him to take the payment and started sharing the mistakes he has done, he has behaved very rudely and started arguing. Even after make the payment, when I asked for the Receipt, he replied "Go & Collect it from inside counter" - whereas it's his duty to provide the bill/receipt when he is collecting payment from anyone. When I was collecting the receipt from inside counter, that waiter came and again started misbehaving with me - by passing comments and by whistling as Tease. This is my 1st trip to Switzerland and I've already visited Zürich and Interlaken - never met anyone like him. So friends, be careful while visiting this restaurant - I'm not saying all staffs are rude of this restaurant, but if any of you met this person to serve you, I'm sure he'll ruin your entire day and mood and be careful when you are receiving your...

Restaurant Schutzen in Lauterbrunnen

I recently visited this place in Lauterbrunnen to try their Swiss fondue, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The fondue itself was mediocre at best, failing to meet the expectations one might have for authentic Swiss cuisine.

However, the most concerning aspect was the abysmal service. If I could rate it below zero, I would. The waitresses appeared to have no interest in providing any semblance of good service and seemed completely unprepared for the summer tourist rush.

It's unfortunate that businesses like this are not ready to welcome and accommodate the influx of tourists. This leaves visitors feeling frustrated and stuck with overpriced food and zero service.

Overall, I would give this place a zero rating for both service and food. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant if you want a pleasant dining experience in...
