Restaurant Altitude bei Beausite Park Hotel — Restaurant in Lauterbrunnen

My husband and I came to Beausite Park Hotel for our honeymoon. We planned to have dinner at Restaurant Altitude maybe twice during our stay. In the end we had dinner and breakfast at Altitude all five days.

We were blown away by the service, the food, and the views!!! Lea, the Director and Manager of Service, has created the most welcoming space. She is an expert in her field and it was a pleasure and delight to spend every evening with her.

We plan to come back to Wengen every few years and will not stay at any other hotel solely because of the experience Lea provided for us. Unforgettable.

Now, the food! Jan has created a wide-ranging and delightful culinary experience. We loved the use of seasonal produce in every dish and the variety of flavors and textures. Every evening is a new culinary experience as their menu changes daily! The wine pairings curated by Lea were perfect and always elevated the dish.

This is the best restaurant in Wengen. The views from every table are breathtaking.

Each night they offer a unique multi-course menu with vegan options. Each course was delicious and offered a wine pairing that complimented the food very well. They also offer a traditional menu with classic options that you can substitute within your multi-course meal.

Every night the head chef came out to greet each guest, ask about their day, and connect. The best part of the entire experience was interacting with the deputy director/ F+B Manager. She was kind, funny, and offered a wonderful social experience to the entire atmosphere of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone...

Stayed at the hotel and reserved a table for dinner. Added in the notes it was my partners birthday and the team were so accommodating. They went above and beyond specially laying out the table and so thankful we were spending my partners birthday with them. They bought out a nice little surprise at the end with a cake.
