Extremely comfortable hotel with modern and very well appointed rooms. The rooms have very comfortable beds, double glazed windows which open-up to let fresh air in & close-up securely to allow for a very restful quiet night. Shower and en-suite is very well appointed and modernized. In the en-suite you will find hair dryer, complimentary tissues, and personal hygiene wipes and cotton buds for your convenience. You will find complementary water, coffee and tea making facilities in the room along with USB charging points and color TV.
This is extremely family welcoming hotel which is children and pet friendly and includes a comprehensive child’s play room just adjacent to the wellness center.
The hotel has a lovely ambience and obviously a lot of care and consideration has gone into producing a extremely welcoming venue. There is a 24/7 concierge which was extremely helpful in picking us up from the railway station and dropping us back again to the station on our departure.
Downstairs you’ll find a extremely modern well equipped and luxurious wellness center with large size pool, two saunas, and a large relaxation area; all the better for winding down after a long journey.
There is a bar and a restaurant downstairs and the food is exquisite. We were fortunate enough to have Half board which provided us with a delicious three course meal. The service and care from the restaurant staff was wonderful. The restaurant is very comfortable and has an extraordinary amount of history behind it.
If you look around the hotel you’ll find plenty of pictures, sculptures, and ornaments of rabbits this is a wonderful theme and adds to the hotels ambience.
I briefly met the one of the owners and was quite taken back by her patience, good nature, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Breakfast is very nicely provided between the hours of 7 to 10 in the morning. You will find delicious cooked items, pastries, bread, cold meat and cheese, also fruit, and yogurt. The breakfast venue provides a very comfortable environment for you to enjoy your first meal of the day looking over a beautiful view of...
Read moreFirst impressions are always valuable. We booked this “4-star” hotel through an agency for a one night stay in St. Moritz, arriving via the Bernini Express sightseeing train from Tirano, Italy. We were promised an included transfer to/from the train, located in center-city. On arrival, my partner and I wasted no time exiting the train and making our way to the lift and pick-up point, but no car is waiting. I paid the taxi driver waiting CHF25 for a ride to the hotel. On check-in I was told the driver waited 10 minutes and left. What?? Did he have something else better to do on this off-season October day? When your ride is waiting at the airport holding up a name card do they just leave after a very brief wait?? Very, very disappointing!!||The room is nice, simple but with pleasant accoutrements. The temperature is far too hot but we opened the balcony door to let in some fresh air. We were told this was an upgrade. The king bed is comprised of two separate mattresses, similar to what you find in a lower price 3-star hotel, and as hard as the floor to sleep on. Just saying. After 31 years with the airlines, Switzerland is my 37th country, so this opinion is based on experience.||Dinner at the hotel was overpriced but pleasant and reservations weren’t necessary for this mid-October visit. I had smoked shrimp with toast for an appetizer and wiener schnitzel with frites as a main. My partner had no appetizer but thin veal with frites as a main. No wine, just water. The food was delicious and portions were excellent.||This morning we will have breakfast (included) and try out the pool. We’ve been encouraged to visit the pool area by other guests. Then a walk around the local area for some shopping before our return train ride back to Tirano. I’ll share updates and photos when I...
