I recently had the pleasure of learning to ski with Red Legend Ski School, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our instructor, Xiao, was the heart of our journey on the slopes. His intuition, helpful guidance, calm demeanor, and endless patience truly set him apart. Xiao has a unique ability to make complex techniques understandable for beginners, ensuring that every lesson is both enjoyable and highly informative. Thanks to Xiao, I’ve made incredible progress in skiing. While I might not quite be a pro yet, I certainly feel like I’m on my way there, all thanks to his expert instruction. The confidence and skills I’ve gained are invaluable. I cannot recommend Red Legend Ski School enough, especially for those lucky enough to have Xiao as their guide on the snowy paths. A huge thank you to Xiao and the entire team at Red Legend for making my skiing experience unforgettable. Looking forward to hitting the slopes again soon!

Schade.

My son who skied in a higher group with Ski School St.Moritz last year, was put in an easier group, where even his poles were taken away. Despite numerous requests to adjust his level, I was told that they are understaffed (14 children for 1 instructor) and that they would not be able to help. Very frustrating and unfriendly experience with the management team this year, after more than 13 consecutive years of taking classes with them with my older daughter.

Had the privilege of being led by snowboard instructor Vito Bolt from 26-30 December 2022. On the second day onwards, my group was also accompanied by 2 other fantastic instructors Paul Dörig and Salma (a pity that I didn’t ask for her last name).

From the get-go, Vito was amazingly friendly and meticulous, making triply (for real, he did check 3 times if we all had our mountain pass cards) sure that we were all equipped, properly laced up and ready to hit the slopes. He really makes one feel very well taken care of – from constantly checking our bindings to make sure we are less prone to injury, to getting us ready to catch the funicular down in time to catch our bus every day. Lunchtimes were a really good time to dine and get to know one another better too.

The team of instructors ensured that every morning started with decent and fun warmups. Throughout the 5 days, Vito, Salma and Paul were extremely patient with us and helping us get the basics right. By the third day, most of us were ready to venture to other slopes to get more exposure and learning. Big shout out to Salma! Thank you for your patience and guidance.

At the end of every single day, Vito’s spirits were always as high as during the mornings and sees us off to our doorstep at Club Med, sharing fist-bumps with nothing but a truly sincere smile and making sure we were all doing okay. That may seem a small gesture but I definitely appreciated it!

My 7 year-old son also had wonderful praise for his Club Med mini club ski instructor Leon. He says Leon is an amazing and fun teacher!

Team Red Legends, don’t lose these 4 awesome...

If you are looking for school in Celerina please think again. We book for morning and afternoon and got told the day before that they don’t have the class in the afternoon. Therefore they put my kid to the next level but just to get by in the afternoon as he cannot teach two level in the same time. Also they didn’t have good feedback for English speaking as they are Italian or German speaker teacher. If they did, I didn’t have for my kid. They forgot that my kid is only understand English. Also you will not get much after the class end after 5 days. We need to follow up as the teacher said we have to check only but no details of where to check. Eventually I got a link to say that which level that my kid at through a link and no proper signature of the teacher signing off. We have a better experience in Zermatt area as the provided a booklet and the videos of the training and do a proper assessment at the end of the day. I think this one they just observe and just say that they can’t and that it as I don’t have any video or...
