Came here with a friend who lives in St Gallen who was able to sort out the ordering and menu. But shortly after entry the waitress clocked I was English and immediately brought me an English menu which was really kind.
We ordered some Salad with Italian dressing to start followed by the 'House' Fondue which came with bread with the potatoes and pickles being optional (but absolutely necessary) extras.
Drinks wise we had white wine which was lovely and dry and paired excellently with the Fondue.
The salad tasted exceptional and so did the Fondue which incorporated the local 'Spicy' cheeses from Appenzell and was setup by our waiter to perfection.
The service was very attentive and efficient. The ambience was incredible and ticked every box of Swiss culture.

Staff was friendly and attentive to details. Overall it was a...

There is no special 'swiss-style' decoration, it looks more like a pub to me. The found with the house mixture did hit my taste perfectly and I was in heaven. The house mixture contains Appenzeller, Gruyère and vacherin cheese and it tastes a bit stronger than the moitié-moitié mixture. All in all I had a great experience there and the fondue tastes heavenly. I can definitely...
