US-MEX St. Gallen — Restaurant in St. Gallen

What is going on here? Nothing about that food tasted like it is from the US or Mexico. The whole plate tasted like some kind of curry. I am typing this review not 20 mins after leaving, with hands smelling 100% like curry... even after washing with soap! We had a plate of fries, wings, onion rings and some other things. The food was all well enough cooked and the staff are nice, good people, but the taste of the food was definitely on the Asian side of things.

Coming from the US, I do know what Mexican food tastes like. I have enjoyed plenty burritos in LA. I also know what Indian food tastes like and that was definitely not Mexican-tasting food.

Please consider re-branding. This could be a great Indian or Thai curry place, but you will never convince me that food is US or Mex, I...

If you want to taste the best BBQ baby ribs and burgers, this is the right place! As the name implies, this restaurant is a blend of Mexican and American cuisine and it executes it perfectly, with the atmosphere matching the different cultures. The staff was also very enthusiastic and professional, we were cracking jokes and they were very quick with their delivery. But by far the best part was the food. It was definitely one of the best that I had ever tasted and I seriously recommend the BBQ baby ribs. Everything about it was perfect, I highly recommend going to this place if you want to enjoy the best food St. Gallen...

Leider waren die zwei damen die letzten sonntag am späteren nachmittag gearbeitet haben mehr als überhebl:ch u.frech.wir sind seit vielen jahren regelmässig kunden und waren bislang mit der männlichen bedienung und auch mit nina u.domino sehr zufrieden,aber das was wir an sonntag erleben mussten ist nicht akzeptabel.unfreundlich,überheblich,unprofessionell,ohne anstand gegenüber uns gästen,nachdem wir wegen regen reinsitzen wollten mit 6personen,wurde uns,obwohl fast alle tische frei waren,nur der tisch direkt oben an der treppe gegeben.es wäre für 6 personen unmöglich da einigermassen normal zu essen.wir haben dennoch 20 minuten sicher gewartet und hatten noch nicht einmal unsere getränkebestellung aufgeben können.dann sind wir gegangen u.sagten vor ort,das es so nicht geht.da wurden wir wie oben beschrieben herunterkapitelt wie kleine kinder. Wir sind allerdings alle zwischen 30 ubd 60 j.alt! so,nach langer zeit wieder einmal hier gegessen.alles nur fertig ware u.auch noch in schlechter qualität.2x vorspeise 1x salat,wrap mit poulet u.quesadilla,3x glas wasser 1xglas cola,1x sprite,1x kaffe,und das dann für über 120.-,bei 2 erw.u.2 kindern!!! sorry aber das ist einfach total überteuert! diesmal war wenigstens die bedienung freundlich. trotzdem mit uns ist nun nicht mehr zu rechnen hier! das geht bei allen punkten weit besser an...
