Au 31 — Restaurant in Vevey

Right, so the only reason why I am giving a 3 is because the food was good, and Paolo, our second waiter, saved the take. We waited a long time to get our menus when the restaurant was empty. The first waiter was pretty rude. The drinks were wrong, and instead of changing the drink, they added the alcohol to it. It seemed they did not know how to make the cocktail. I give it to them that Paolo was available, welcoming, and efficient. The food came quickly after our order and was delicious. Ater, it was again a long wait to order a dessert, so we left. Nice casual spot for Italian fare. Waitstaff are all lovely and accommodating. Very kid friendly with options for the little ones - and a lot of families seen there each day we went. We ate there for lunch one day and dinner another while in Vevey. Pizzas, pasta, salad all very well executed and fresh tasting. It gets very busy for dinner. Twh hungry travelers on jet lag were lucky to find this place a few blocks from our hotel along the promenade facing the water. Very cool. Pizza was great. Was even better with the spicy olive oil.
