TomSab Thaï Restaurant — Restaurant in Vevey

I got food poisoning after eating here. And I’m pretty sure it’s related because it was my only meal yesterday. The service is terrible! The lady who served me wouldn’t answer the question, ‘what can you tell me about these 3 curries?’ Which all had local names. It took 5 minutes for her to admit that she didn’t know. After that she served me with an angry grimace. The food is completely over salted. The coconut soup has a few sparse veggies floating in a highly salty coconut milk base. The curry was better but the same overly salty milky base and same veggies floating in it. It’s as if they use the same pot of mixed veg and throw that in everywhere. The glutinous rice was good. Overall a very very mediocre Thai which, on top of the food poisoning, I wouldn’t dream of returning to. Btw. Very chagrin. This used to be our favorite Thai restaurant, but the last few visits have been disappointing.

Je ne recommanderai pas ce restaurant pour la simple et bonne raison que l’on n’ai pas sensé être malade après avoir consommé et cela dans n’importe quel restaurant. En effet mon fils a mangé la soupe à la noix de coco “Tom Kah Kai”, et dans la nuit qui suivi il s’est littéralement vidé et je n’ai pas besoin de vous faire de dessin. Ayant peur d’accuser à tord j’ai laissé le bénéfice du doute, mais en échangeant avec d’autres personnes ayant goutté cette soupe, eux aussi ont été malade. Il ne faut pas être Sherlock Holmes pour en déduire que cette soupe est à l’origine de ce que l’on peut dire une intoxication alimentaire. C’est juste trop grave que l’on puisse laisser passer ça.
