Very impolite staff. I am a frequent customer to Gottlieber Winterthur, I also went to others branch Gottlieber and always had very nice service. But today I came for Saturday brunch the waiter acted not seeing us, we try to wait for seat and acted avoiding us at her best wvwn she has doing nothing at the moment, when finally we realized no service in finding table we look for table by our self we finally found spot without table sitting on the wooden ground, so we came back to where she is standing still doing nothing and still acted not seeing us or hearing when I try to ask her the seat. And she is so impolite pointing the spot which no table eventhou I informed her we are going to eat brunch there. While another guest who just arrive immediately got the Spot and there is another 4 cair table that actually she can separate the table then could be occupied 2 group , but she did not bothered herself. This kind of waiter ruin the hospitality business , we totally lost appetite to Gottlieber and for sure not coming back. And maybe we are not the first or the last hot this treatment from...
Read moreVisited this place with my wife this morning and was a little bit shocked đł. We took a seat at their terrace (was half-empty) and didnât read that was reserved. A woman that was working came to us and told us in German that that table is booked (very angry) and just left without saying anything else. She literally just told us that and left without offering us any other table (everything was almost empty) or even asking us if we wanted to drink something. So, to be very clear thatâs not a communication issue because she clearly said that we canât seat where we were and left us without offering any drinks or alternative tables. Then off course we left the place even though it was more than half empty. To sum up - rudeness on its highest level. Therefore I really wouldnât recommend you this place and would rate 0 if possible for...
Read moreDecent little cafe near the train station. Not cheap (nothing in Switzerland isâŠ), with a caramel latte costing me 7CHF/ ~$8USD (as of time of this review, Sept 15 2022). Service was polite, tho my server didnât speak any English (somewhat surprisingly), so I had to use my lousy Swiss-German. Took a bit longer to be served/ pay my bill than I would have liked, but I think that was more due to my being somewhat rushed because of an upcoming flight. The Gottlieber Huppen are their signature, tasty, chocolate-filled flaky tubes that are complimentary with your coffee. They come in an assortment of flavors (I had caramel & milk...
