I came here with 11 work colleagues and reserved a table beforehand. The service was a bit slow but ok.
I got a burger and fries for 19.99. If you wanted to add anything, it costed more. Cheddar, for example, was an additional 2chf and so is avocado. If you didn’t want bbq sauce but something else, then it was an additional 1chf. Drinks were also a bit pricey. 4chf for a sparkling water, 4.50 for an apfelschorle, and 5 for a beer. The price difference is not big, but 4 for a tiny sparkling water is ridiculous.
One thing I always notice about burger places is if they ask you how you want the meat cooked. If they do not ask you this, the meat is not fresh and most likely frozen. Restaurants cannot serve you medium or rare cooked meat unless it is fresh. This place did not ask. That was already a signal of the quality when ordering.
One colleague ordered the burrito. It looked as horrible as it tasted. The burger was ok, but it was not the best. The fries were crispy but also seasoned with some kind of paprika. At the end of the meal I was full, but it wasn’t a satisfied feeling. It was more a feeling of regret, and thinking why did I eat this. My colleagues also agreed it was ok, but not special enough to come back again...

The food was nicely packed and fresh even after the drive home. The french fries tasted good and the delicious dip sauce was a great addition. The burger buns looked nice and glossy, everything seemed to be in order.
But sadly the breaded chicken filet was of poor quality and seemed frozen. Meat was dry and the consistency was rubbery. It almost seemed like mockery when the packaging said "daily handmade fresh burgers". I really wish the chicken burgers were fresh as well! Unfortunately KFC will win these crispy chicken...
Read moreSince I discovered this restaurant I’ve been a regular customer because the burguers are usually pretty good. But this time they did something that I consider to be unacceptable. The burguer was missing the cheddar cheese (which was an extra that I paid for), had residues of carrot and salad (ingredients that I asked not to be in it) and the patty tasted like it was reheated instead of cooked fresh. You cannot do this to a paying customer and I think I won’t be ordering again.
PS - We contacted the restaurant regarding the offer, and they were super nice and did as promised. The burgers were really good, as we have come to expect them to be. It was a nice atitude and a good way of make emends. I’ll be ordering again and also recommend...
