Burgermeister Enge — Restaurant in Zurich

Extremely overpriced for what it is and service is non existent. Two servers were arguing behind the counter not even acknowledging that someone entered. The third server who then took my order was useless. I wanted a cheeseburger with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. She didn't understand what a coleslaw was I had to explain several times and then it took her ages until she found it and then she forgot the sour cream sauce which is supposed to come with the sweet potato fries. The Burger was ok, the raw onions in there however were too overpowering for my taste, nothing as refined as I would have expected given the price. And nothing I would want to eat again. Definitely not the quality burger I expected and craved. The fries were fine, a bit fatty and unfortunately extremely sad without the sauce and the coleslaw was just one fork full, the package it came in was half empty. So all in all way too expensive for what it was. Very Disappointing. I expected much more! Next time I'll go to Holy Cow again (Great Cheesburgers! but sadly not many sides) or even McDonalds or Burger King. You get more value and definitely...

Unlike other locations, you can't order from or have the food delivered to your table. You have to hang around with all the uber eats drivers. They also don't want you to listen to you own tunes as the order screen doesn't work so they have to quietly whisper the order numbers for you not to hear. Also make sure you get everything before sitting down, for some reason they don't seem to know what drinks you have ordered. (When I compare this to the HB location, where you can order at your table, drinks come quickly and food also comes to your table). I always order Avocado burger with no onion and cheese fries. Guess, how many times (out of 5) I actually got what I ordered? One!!! I’ve got Avocado burger once! All the other times they put bacon (a lot of bacon) in my burger, sometimes left onion there as well. I hate bacon with all my heart, I don’t want even to smell it and eat food which was near it (I don’t have religious prejudice though, it would be really harmful in that case). I am very disappointed. Messed up orders, dry and unsalted meat, very long waiting time (I agree with other reviews that people are just chatting in the kitchen instead of cooking). Plus food is way overpriced for this quality. Fries is fine though. There are much better places to eat...
