Caffè Spettacolo Oerlikon SBB — Restaurant in Zurich

I’d like to share a feedback regarding an experience I had yesterday at your Oerlikon location.

I ordered a decaf cappuccino with plant milk, but was served a cappuccino with cow’s milk. Since I cannot drink milk, I kindly asked for a new one. After the new coffee was prepared the barista scolded me, saying I caused her extra work because I wasn’t clear when ordering and that I should be more careful next time?? I gave an order to one barista and another one made my coffe. It's not my fault they didn't communicate it properly.

As someone who has worked in gastronomy for years, I found this to be a very unprofessional and inappropriate way to handle a simple correction. It’s also not the first time I’ve experienced something similar at this location — a few months ago, a barista rolled her eyes and sighed when I ordered the same drink.

Pretty good espresso, especially for a train station outlet. This isn't even close to tasting like authentic Italian coffee, but it's decent and perfect to grab before hopping on a train.

This location is inside the busy Zurich train station, and the line was quite long early on a Saturday morning. The baristas moved it along quickly, though, and everyone working there seemed to understand the importance of being timely so customers could catch their trains.

Since the milk in Switzerland is some of the best in the world, I got a cappuccino. My espresso was carefully pulled and served hot and fresh. I had no complaints.

This is a good stop if you are looking for an espresso-based beverage. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but Caffe...

Sunday, 29th Sept 2024 My husband and I, this afternoon went to have our coffee there. The staff (a lady with glasses) that was attending us was relatively unfriendly. There was no smile, no greetings, no thank you, no you're welcome, for the things we paid for. When told my husband, is there a napkin where we can get ourselves, unfortunately, there wasn't any. So, my husband went back to this lady to ask for it.
