As a Swiss person, I find the cuisine at Filfl wonderfully exotic, yet incredibly satisfying. The flavors are rich, the spices are vibrant, and every dish is a delightful adventure for the palate. However, it's disheartening to see the restaurant nearly empty on my visits.

We had a traditional shared platter with both veggie and meat dishes. The food is delicious, and the service is also very good. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, he came to check on us a few times during the course of the meal and even game to give us s handshake snd introduce himself afterwards. Really well worth the visit!

There was a little „coffee ceremony“ afterwards, where someone from the kitchen walked around with smoky coffee beans and the smoke filled the room. This left us all with a smoke taste in our mouths and smoky smell on our clothes and hair, which we didn’t enjoy very much…Other than that everything was perfect. Will surely come...

Some things I did not like:

The staff speaks no English and terrible German Many items from menu (meats and drinks) are not available. If you order a shared Ethiopian platter with mixed items, you would struggle to understand what you are getting and what price you are paying because of point 1 & 2 NO credit/debit card accepted The staff was very disrespectful and unprofessional to each other.
