Taverne Da Angelo — Restaurant in Zurich

In only had meat, which is not the ideal dish to judge a restaurant from - in fairness, the Pasta dishes looked a lot better than my Scaloppine, which were nothing special. I ordered a side of cime di rapa (as the Fave were not really available as a side dish) but I ended up unable to eat them: they adopted the swiss cooking style that assumes that everything is better with garlic, and the more the better at that. It's nice however to see a restaurant with Fave, which are very rare in Zurich. We've also tried a Pizza, which again was nothing too special: you can probably find something better in town, but it's still above the average. Service was very friendly and nice. All in all I'd still pay a visit to try the first dishes, and I'd certainly go back if only...

Als ich kürzlich Zürich besuchte, hatte ich das Vergnügen, die Pizzeria "Piazza Italiana" zu entdecken, und ich bin begeistert! Diese charmante Pizzeria hat mich auf ganzer Linie überzeugt und ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Das Highlight dieser Pizzeria sind zweifellos die hervorragenden Pizzen. Die Auswahl an Belägen ist umfangreich, und die Zutaten waren frisch und von höchster Qualität. Die Pizza hatte eine perfekte, knusprige Kruste und war großzügig mit köstlichem Käse und Toppings belegt. Jeder Bissen war ein Geschmackserlebnis, das meine Erwartungen bei weitem übertraf. Obwohl ich normalerweise ein klassischer Margherita-Fan bin, habe ich mich diesmal für die "Piazza Spezial" entschieden, und es war eine ausgezeichnete Wahl!

Das Personal verdient ebenfalls besondere Anerkennung. Die Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Sie waren bereit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen und auf individuelle Wünsche einzugehen. Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft hat mich sofort willkommen geheißen und mich während meines gesamten Aufenthalts wohl fühlen lassen.

Die Atmosphäre in der Pizzeria "Piazza Italiana" war gemütlich und einladend. Die Einrichtung war ansprechend, und die entspannte Stimmung machte das Essen zu einem echten Genuss. Obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war, fühlte ich mich nie übersehen oder gehetzt.

Insgesamt war mein Besuch in der Pizzeria "Piazza Italiana" ein wahrer Genuss. Ich kann dieses Juwel in Zürich wärmstens empfehlen, wenn Sie nach authentischer, köstlicher Pizza und einem herzlichen Service suchen. Egal, ob Sie ein Einheimischer oder Besucher sind, diese Pizzeria wird Ihre Geschmacksknospen verzaubern und Sie mit ihrer freundlichen Atmosphäre begeistern. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Zürich bin, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hierher zurückkehren, um erneut die fantastische Pizza...

The menu is full of outstanding Italian choices. Nevertheless I got Pizza. Quality fillings. When I still have a quarter of Pizza in my plate, the waiter disrespectfully collected the empty plates of our party. I got annoyed by that. I wonder if that is ok in Italia but certainly not in Switzerland. I also recommend to workout if you get Pizza because the knives require you to have muscles.
