Frida Seefeld — Restaurant in Zurich

This was a great dinner! My only itty bitty complaint is that it’s not signed as Frida Seefeld, it’s as the bar’s name (which I can’t remember off the top of my head but it’s French haha). I had to ask the waitress just to be sure we were in the right place lol! And boy were we. The tacos were all excellent, we particularly enjoyed the Barbacoa. I’m from the south in the States and can enjoy delicious authentic tacos whenever I like, and these might have been just a little better too! Our waitress was very kind and helped us pick the right tacos. She made sure we had plenty (which we didn’t so she offered to order us more!) and the food came out very hot and fresh....

First of all, I don't like "funny" stuff like this. I was invited for "dinner" at this place but it is a VERY LOUD BAR which is serving some Mexican food. You have to be clear that this is a Bar experience and not as Dining experience and that is the reason to review with not so many stars. The place is extremely loud and therefore it is impossible to have proper communication with your mates. For those who like it, feel free to go. I don't think I will become a regular guest here. Apart from this, some of us got not the food they ordered, since everything was wrapped in foil, some of the bytes got mixed up...for a party of 6 this...

Absolut frech diese bedienung! wir hatten am nachmittag online für das abendessen reserviert. es konnte keine mailadresse, nur eine telefonnummer angegeben werden. vor ort angekommen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, es gäbe keine reservation auf unseren namen. kann ja passieren, dass etwas mit dem reservationssystem nich funktioniert. für uns soweit kein problem. (das lokal hatte einige freie sitzplätze, auch ohne reservationsschilder auf den tischen.) dann ging jedoch die belehrung des serviceangestellten los: wir hätten nur eine anfrage und keine reservation gemacht. aber sie hätten doch ein platz für uns. so weit so gut. anstatt dann einfach freundlich einen platz zuzuweisen, ging die belehrung des herrn weiter: ein seltsamer vergleich mit einer anfrage für eine versicherung, da bekäme ich auch zuerst eine offerte, wenn ich eine anfrage mache. und wiederholt nochmals, dass wir keine bestätigung erhalten hätten. darauf entgegneten wir: wenn es ein problem darstellt.. und wurden unterbrochen mit: nein überhaupt nicht, aber: und nochmals eine wiederholende belehrung. wir haben uns dann entschieden, ein anderes restaurant in gehdistanz, mit freundlicher bedienung aufzusuchen. sowas haben wir wirklich noch nie erlebt! bei diesem erlebnis stellt sich für uns schon die frage: möchten sie sich lieber den zahlungskräftigen kunden gegenüber aufspielen, anstatt neue zu gewinnen? bei solch eine arroganz ist uns die lust auf einen mexikanischen abend vergangen, obwohl wir uns sehr darauf gefreut hatten, ein neues lokal in zürich auszuprobieren. offensichtlich kann man sich dies im noblen zürcher seefeld-quartier mit den...
