Brunch very very disappointing! 5 stars for how it looks and 1 star for the taste, definitely not the amazing American brunch food you'd expect. Coffee is 4 stars though. We ordered the French toast set and the Benedict set, both were sub par. The best thing was the popcorn chicken that was part of the Benedict set but you only get two pieces. I was really hoping to find a brunch restaurant that really hits the spot but this is not the place. Although there's a ton of people who come here for weekend brunch. We came at 1:30pm and it was so full we had to wait a bit. The coffee here is quite good though and it's cute and at a central location at Limmatquai, so if you need a spot to go to for some coffee or tea, this would be the spot for you.

The different dishes in the beautiful bowls were not only delicious, but thoughtfully created - both savory and sweet. Not only that, the cafe ambience was so comfortable on the terrace, surrounded by fellow guests enjoying their time and the wonderful hum of the city. A leisurely, nourishing experience at Cafe Lang... I highly recommend!

Dieser Brunch Spot bei Cafe Lang ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Schon ab dem Zeitpunkt als wir dieses Restaurant betraten, hatte es schon angefangen. Es gibt keine richtige BegrĂŒssung, man weiss nicht wo stehen und die Mitarbeiter wirken nicht gerade motiviert. Wir hatten sogar eine Reservierung mit einer klaren Email BestĂ€tigung, aber sie behaupteten keine Reservation unter diesen Namen zu finden. Also mussten wir noch eine Zeit abwarten bis wir zu einem Platz zugewiesen wurden. Man merkt die Organisation funktioniert Null. Der Raum und das Ambiente fand ich persönlich sehr dunkel und nicht wirklich einladend. Wir haben sicher 15 Minuten gewartet bis wir bestellen konnten. Wir wurden nicht einmal bedient wir mussten selber nach fragen, dass wir endlich ready seien. Ebenfalls haben wir nicht einmal die MenĂŒkarte erhalten und mussten online die MenĂŒkarte suchen. Zum Essen habe ich grundsĂ€tzlich nichts zu kritisieren ausser das sie sehr sparsam mit den FrĂŒchten umgehen. Bei mir waren ca. 7 Blaubeeren und nur eine einzige Erdbeere. Der Grapefruit Saft war nicht frisch gepresst. Eine gewisse QualitĂ€t muss man fĂŒr diesen Preis auch erwarten. Leider mussten wir auch feststellen, dass das Besteck dreckig war. Ich finde Allgemein muss ich dort noch vieles verbessern. Ob ich wieder dieses Restaurant besuchen werde - Nein.

Also... I know it is Zurich and Café Lang is quite a historical café. But our brunch was super expensive, the waiting time to get our food extremely long and many mistakes done during the service. Food came after 45 minutes (other clients were also waiting long). Half of our order was missing...

I order the eggs with the meatballs. 27.50 chf for a tiny portion is completely over priced (2 eggs and 3 meatballs). The taste was ok, but it is not fresh food and also not home home made. Same for the Birchermuesli. 10.50 chf for a tiny portion without any taste.

Quite disappointed by Café Lang... You need asap to review your concept and the quality/quantity you offer. Otherwise you won't last very long...

I went with some friends for the brunch.

2 of us arrived a little first, so the waitress asked us if we wanted to have something.

I told her no, I had to wait for the rest of the people at the table to arrive.

Ok, she brought me a glass of tap water, "such a nice gesture"

Imagine my surprise when i saw on the bill she charge 6CH in addition to the 46CH of the breakfast for the damn glass of tap water I hadn't even ordered.

Plus it took them almost an hour to bring us the breakfast, it's definitely...
