I recently dined at Thali House in Zurich and had a mixed experience. The staff at the restaurant were polite and gentle, which was a highlight of our visit. However, the food and ambiance didn't quite meet our expectations, especially considering the price point.

The paneer gravy I ordered was tangier than I prefer and came without any accompaniments like rice, which was surprising given its price of 25 CHF. Generally, at this price elsewhere, a more complete meal is expected. Additionally, they charged 3 CHF for tap water, which I found unusual and excessive.

Visited July 2019. Poor service. Worst food. Stay away if you want to keep your self respect. They gave veg. Fried rice with few chicken pieces as chicken briyani. No indian chef in the whole world add green peas in chicken briyani. Not worth for high prices they charge. About service: they think they are doing a favor or charity to you and their attitude is the worst ever I have seen. They did not even care to provide plates to eat. I hope they will correct their behavior and serve authentic food to stay longer in the business. Dear owner, please understand there are lot of choices to eat in the city and your customers are coming to your restaurant expecting to eat some authentic food and they are paying for it. You are not serving them free. Change your attitude, respect your customers and you will have a chance to survive in the business and customers will recommend your place to others happily.
