Goodbye Loi

Every beauty has an end. My first visit after dinner service was interrupted...

Still some quality in the served meals (lunch menu) but nowhere close to what it was before. Starters were still good but mains... mediocre cauliflower/potato gratin and barely welcoming pasta where quantity was the focus rather than quality.

Nothing left from the cordial service. It's rather slow, unattentive and nowhere precise. Prices were just ok but it's not enough for a re-visit. Such a pity

Die einzelnen Gerichte schmeckten wunderbar, besonders angetan waren wir vom Spargelgang, dessen Kombination mit Jamintee aussergewöhnlich war und exzellent schmeckte. Speziell erwähnen möchten wir das Brot - best in town! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist dermassen gut, dass ich den Besitzern nahe legen möchte, ihre Preise zu überdenken. Wir hatten schon fast ein schlechtes Gewissen, so fein zu essen für so einen günstigen Preis. Auch die Weinkarte lässt sich sehen und auch da, die teuerste Flasche mit 68.- für ein Restaurant dieser Klasse eher im unteren Bereich. Wir wünschen dem Betrieb, der mit grosser Liebe und Können kocht, viel Erfolg. Wir sind sicher - von diesen Köchen wird man noch hören......, vielleicht an einem anderen Ort, denn das ist der einzige Haken, die Atmosphäre der Architektur ist schwierig mit der...
