Nooch Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Zurich

We reserved a table on Monday evening for "all you can eat" Sushi. Once we arrived, we had our table with our name on it.

We ordered drinks and the waiter told us to place the order. It should be obvious that we need the order sheet to cross the order so we thought it should be perhaps in the menu or drink cards. We searched the table but didn’t find any. So, we called a waiter to give us the order sheet and he politely said “of course”. He gave us the order sheet and left. Then we looked to the sheet and told ourselves: it should also be a pencil or something to cross the order. I immediately remembered IKEA where you find at each corner measuring tapes and pencils. Once gain we searched the table and didn’t find a pen nor pencil. We called him again for a pencil and finally received the pencil to place the order.

We placed the first order and it arrived with a surprise that the small dishes had not been yet set on the table (see the picture). These small dishes are used to place chopstick on it, pour soya sauce in it. Wasabi and ginger are usually filled in these small dishes . We waited a while and it appeared that they forgot to bring them. We called a waiter and they brought us the small dishes. So, we could start eating.

After taking few pieces of our order we found a long hair on one of the sushi roles. We called a waiter; he apologized and replaced the plate.

In the second round, some of our order was wrongly placed.

The waiters were all friendly and polite and always apologizing for any of the explained incidents. As a good gesture they gave us a takeaway voucher.

All in all, it was a very negative experience for us to see these mistakes and ignorance altogether and a long delay/waiting...

The service here is terrible. The waitress came over to our table and dropped a stack of menus and then left without a word. When we finally received our drinks they were depressing. I ordered one of the cocktails which was served in a half full wine glass with 3 ice cubes and a sad sprig of red berries.

We ordered starters and mains which were served backwards and not all at once. The first person at our table was served their main before their starter and no one else received anything for at least 5 minutes. I ordered a second drink (beer this time because it can't be messed up) and after not receiving it ordered from a second server who also didn't bring it. After ordering a 3rd time, second time from the first server, I received my beer about 15 minutes after first attempt.

When I asked why our mains were served before our starters, which we specified were starters, I was told by a new random server that "we have 3 kitchens". Yeah, ok, and why are they not in sync or working together?

Terrible service and truly mediocre cookie cutter asian food. Will not go back and will tell everyone I...

I used to study in Switzerland and this is one of my favourite restaurant in Zurich. My friends and I litterally enjoyed everything (food & drinks, service quality, cleanliness, impressive background and cozy lights) here many times. It's remarkable how they present the portion on each dishes, the quality, the quantity, etc. I do not know how did they manage those aspects but each portion has a perfekt ratio for everything and people who works here are lovely and friendly.

Such a pity I did not have any review at that time. That's why there is no foto and I know it's obviously subjective to write a feedback without evident. The memories remind me about the time with my friends, so I decided to give some feekback, let people know that I did have a really good time here.

I defenitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's perfekt for friends and family having beautiful yummy...
