I tried this restaurant through Too Good To Go and I truly appreciate the idea of reducing food waste, I usually enjoy using it. But my experience/restaurant here was extremely disappointing.
For 12 francs, we received two packs of sushi and what was supposed to be a soup, but it turned out to be nothing more than plain rice in a soup container. On top of that, the staff member who gave us the food was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. From the moment we arrived, he made unnecessary comments and treated us with an attitude that felt openly disrespectful.
We were among the first to arrive, yet he let someone else go ahead, even though my friend and I clearly saw that person arriving after us and parking his bike. When I politely pointed it out, he dismissed it, and later handed us a bag with fewer items than expected. This was clearly intentional there were already prepared bags, yet he made us a new one with fewer items. Afterwards, he came back, offered an excuse, and gave us a so-called “soup,” which again was just plain white rice in a container. He even wanted to charge us extra for chopsticks, which were not an add-on. We had already paid 12 francs for food that otherwise would have been thrown away. A pack of chopsticks should be included by the price..
Mistakes can happen, and I don’t expect luxury from a Too Good To Go bag. But this was deliberate, and what really upset me was the attitude: rude, dismissive, and as if we should feel guilty for even being there. That kind of treatment toward paying customers regardless of the discount is unacceptable.
Food waste reduction is a wonderful concept, but it doesn’t excuse bad behavior or disrespect. This experience left me not only disappointed, but...

Yooji’s might be a commercial spot, but it definitely delivers. The sushi train concept is always fun, and the place has a sleek, modern vibe that makes it feel a bit more upscale than your typical chain restaurant.
The sushi is fresh and well-made — not mind-blowing, but consistently good and satisfying. There’s a nice variety rolling by, and it's super easy to try a bit of everything without committing to a full plate. The warm dishes are worth a try too, especially if you want to mix it up.
Service is efficient, and everything runs smoothly — perfect for a quick lunch or a casual dinner when you’re craving sushi without the formality of a traditional spot.
It’s commercial, sure, but in a good way: clean, consistent, and easy. Definitely a solid go-to when you want quality sushi...
Read moreI went there for lunch with a friend recently and enjoyed the outside sitting arrangement. When it's summer and the weather is good, I would highly recommend you sit outside to enjoy the breeze of fresh air, and the food, in a nicer setting. The staff is always very friendly, and the food is always nice. With Yooji's you never go wrong for sushi, though I find that the sashimi dishes and sushi dishes on the menu are quite expensive for the quantity you get. I was surprised when I compared the photo on the menu and what I ordered to find out that it looked considerably smaller than on the picture. As such I would recommend to take a bigger plate and divide it with friends if you're coming with friends...
