田樂咖哩 — Restaurant in Da'an District

A simple outfit with lots of personal touch. They have no English menu, but they're happy to help. The menu has only a few dishes that are doubled by the choice of having either black, i.e. dark curry or yellow, i.e. brown curry. My curry, together with rice and an omelette topping, arrived first, the Schnitzel that I also had ordered came a few minutes later. Good place to get some unique curry near Tonghua Night Market.

Ordered the Black Beef Curry ($150 NT) and was legitimately surprised by the amount of flavor. Was hoping that there would be more that came with it (an egg? more veggies?)

Delicious black curry, clean restaurant and friendly staff. Oh and the quality of the beef is great, nice tender soft chunks, none of that low quality gristly stuff some other curry plates serve.
